History of America Sings Part 1

Most people do not know this, but I am one of the most knowledagable persons in the world on the extinct Disneyland ride/show America Sings. America Sings opened in the theater that had previously housed the Carrousel of Progress. The Carrousel of Progress opened in the New York's World Fair of 1964. It was later moved to Disneyland where it was later moved to WDW to become a new attraction and can still be seen there. Shortly after it was removed in 1973 America Sings opened on June 29, 1974. two weeks after it opened a young lady working the ride as killed when she accidentally walked into a part of the ride that crushed her between the walls. After this incident Disney installed breakaway walls that would break if someone got stuck in the same area. Beyond that this attraction boasted over 115 audio-animotronics the most ever for any Disney or other theme park ride in my knowledge. The first part of the ride showcases some of the extreme talent of Marc Davis the designer of the ride. This first half showcases the journeys of the Americans in the adventures from the deep South onwards toward the West. What happened to this wonderful attraction? Well that is a story for next week. For now enjoy the first half of this ride.

I can see why the lady died... she was so bored that she thought suicide would be fun! JK
I have a hard time understanding your motives for knowing all these things benji but whatever floats your boat
